Financial Secretary John Tsang will visit Singapore on Wednesday to meet officials and business representatives, to strengthen economic ties between the two places.
He will attend a gathering with members of the Hong Kong community in Singapore, and a ceremony to launch the ASEAN internship for Hong Kong university students scheme.
He will also speak at the 7th ASEAN & Asia Forum organised by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs.
He will return to Hong Kong on Friday night.
During his absence, Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan will act as Financial Secretary.
