The Securities & Futures Commission today launched a consultation to garner views on proposed amendments to the Codes on Takeovers & Mergers & Share Repurchases.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Securities & Futures Commission Alexa Lam said the proposals can facilitate market operations and result in the disclosure of more focused and relevant information. She said it is also important to clarify the responsibilities of market practitioners.
The consultation runs until September 26.
