Two jailed for smuggling ivory

Two men were jailed today for two months by West Kowloon Magistracy for smuggling worked ivory.
 
The men are aged 53 and 54.
 
The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department said they arrived in Hong Kong from Harare, Zimbabwe, via Dubai on September 16.
 
Sixty kilograms of worked ivory was found in their luggage.
 
They were charged with the illegal import of endangered species.
