KS Wong to visit Sichuan

Secretary for the Environment KS Wong will open the Youth Internship Programme at Wolong National Nature Reserve in Sichuan on July 18.

 

Funded by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the internship programme enhances the understanding of nature conservation among young people from Hong Kong and Guangdong.

 

The programme is a major item to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR.

 

Mr Wong will visit the Museum of Nature & Earthquake in Wolong and the China Giant Panda Garden inside the Wolong National Nature Reserve.

 

He will also visit Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, which blends conserved historical buildings and commercial facilities.
