The Environmental Protection Department recorded 79 convictions for pollution offences in June.
Thirteen were for air pollution, eight for noise, 57 for waste disposal and one for breaching the Product Eco-responsibility Ordinance.
The heaviest penalty handed down in the month was a $50,000 fine against a clinic which disposed of waste unlawfully.
