The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at 20 beaches 'good', 18 'fair' and one 'very poor' this weekend.
Clear Water Bay Second and Lower Cheung Sha beaches received a better grading than last week, moving from 'fair' to 'good'.
Silver Mine Bay beach improved from 'poor' to 'fair'.
Middle Bay Beach changed from 'good' to 'fair’.
Big Wave Bay Beach changed from 'fair' to 'very poor' due to the recent heavy rainfall.
