Secretary for the Environment KS Wong will lead a Hong Kong delegation to Guangzhou tomorrow, where he and Guangdong Environmental Protection Department Director-General Li Qing will co-chair a Hong Kong-Guangdong joint working group meeting on sustainable development and environmental protection.
The two sides will review the progress of the environmental collaboration in 2014, and agree on a work plan for 2015.
Afterwards, Mr Wong will visit the Guangdong Environmental Monitoring Centre to see the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Pearl River Delta regional air quality monitoring network data centre and the Modiesha regional monitoring station.
Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong tomorrow evening.
