Rose expo to be held

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will hold the Plants of Rosaceae horticulture education exhibition on November 8 and 9 in Kowloon Park.

 

Rosaceae species commonly found in Hong Kong include the rose, peach, mume, bell-flower cherry and loquat.

 

Descriptive display panels will introduce the growth habits and characteristics of common Rosaceae species, as well as the plants’ propagation methods, uses in daily life and symbolic meanings.

 

There will also be game stalls, pot-planting sessions and talks.

 

Admission is free.
