The Endangered Species Advisory Committee will welcome Prof Shaw Pang-chui as chairman and Cheung Siu-gin as a new member on October 1.
Nine non-official members have also been re-appointed.
The new members will serve a two-year term.
The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department today thanked outgoing chairman Paul Shin and committee member Prof Chu Lee-man for their service and valuable contribution.
The committee advises the Director of Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation on how to enforce laws to protect endangered plants and animals.
