The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at 21 beaches ‘good’, 17 ‘fair’ and one ‘poor’ for this weekend.
Compared to last week, Casam, Hoi Mei Wan, Lido and Middle Bay Beaches changed from good to fair, while Pui O Beach was upgraded to poor from very poor on August 20.
The department said the changes are generally within the normal fluctuation range of the beaches’ bacteriological water quality.
