The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at 27 beaches 'good', 10 'fair' and one 'very poor' for this weekend.
The department said Silverstrand and Trio beaches have been upgraded to fair and good since their last grading (very poor) on April 2.
Pui O Beach's very poor water quality may be due to the recent heavy rainfall, and the department is investigating the pollution's cause.
