Chief Executive Carrie Lam hopes the Legislative Council can return to holding rational and peaceful meetings following changes to the council’s Rules of Procedure.
Speaking to reporters today, she said the proposed changes initiated by some lawmakers aim to cope with the escalation of filibustering.
She added she will strive to improve the executive-legislature relationship, reiterating she will make good on her pledge to attend additional monthly meetings at the council.
