The Government has approved a Disaster Relief Fund grant of $3.38 million for Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong to help flood victims in Assam, India.
The money will be used to provide temporary shelter materials, tools and household items.
The grant will take the accumulative value of subsidies for flood victims in India to $14.76 million.
To ensure the money is used properly, Habitat for Humanity must submit an evaluation report and an audited account after the relief project is completed.
