Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung will visit Guangzhou on August 25 to open an exhibition in celebration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's 20th anniversary.
The show is organised by the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Guangdong.
Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Patrick Nip will also take part.
Mr Cheung will meet Guangdong officials and visit Nansha to learn about its infrastructure planning and development.
He will also meet Hong Kong entrepreneurs and students in Guangdong to learn about their lives on the Mainland, and listen to their views on the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.
Secretary for the Environment KS Wong will be Acting Chief Secretary during Mr Cheung’s absence.
