The Disaster Relief Fund Advisory Committee has approved $1.463 million in aid for Plan International Hong Kong to help flood victims in Assam, India.
The grant, together with one approved earlier, will take the accumulative value of grants for flood victims in India to $5.378 million.
To ensure the money is used properly, Plan International must submit evaluation reports and audited accounts after the relief project is completed.
