Secretary for the Civil Service Joshua Law visited the Environmental Protection Department today to meet its frontline staff and learn about its work and services.
Accompanied by Acting Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service Eddie Mak, Mr Law was briefed on the department's policies and plans by Permanent Secretary for the Environment/Director of Environmental Protection Donald Tong and directorate staff.
Mr Law also toured the department’s Island West Transfer Station in Kennedy Town to learn about Hong Kong’s waste management infrastructure.
