Chief Executive CY Leung has called on his administration to focus on the upcoming Policy Address and Budget and not be distracted by reports that an official may resign to run in the Chief Executive election next year.

Speaking to the media today Mr Leung said government officials have the responsibility of serving society and it is his expectation for all members of his administration to stay focused and dedicated.

The public should also think about whether a change of Government leadership next year will decisively solve ongoing social problems like housing issues and growing calls for independence, he added.
