Chief Executive CY Leung and other senior government officials attended the flag-raising ceremony for the 67th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China at Golden Bauhinia Square today.
About 2,500 people, including invited guests, government officials, and members of uniformed groups and community groups, attended the ceremony.
The Police Band performed with a mixed choir from Diocesan Boys' School, Diocesan Girls' School and Hong Kong & Kowloon Kaifong Women's Association Sun Fong Chung Primary School under lead singers Sammy Chien and Dominique Chan.
A fly-past and sea parade by the disciplined services followed.
