The Disaster Relief Fund Advisory Committee has approved $2.289 million in aid for Save the Children Hong Kong to help flood victims in Assam and Bihar, India.

To ensure the money is used properly Save the Children must submit evaluation reports and audited accounts after the relief project is completed.

More than $7 million had been granted to the flood victims so far.
