Chief Secretary Carrie Lam visited the Labour Department's Kwun Tong Occupational Health Clinic cum Occupational Safety & Health Centre today.
Accompanied by Commissioner for Labour Donald Tong, Mrs Lam was briefed on the work of the department’s Occupational Safety & Health Branch and the services provided by the centre to employers and employees.
She then visited the department's Construction Industry Recruitment Centre in Kowloon Bay where she was briefed on the work of the department's Labour Administration Branch, as well as the centre's support services.
Mrs Lam met jobseekers at the centre to discuss their employment needs and the problems encountered in their daily lives.
She commended the department's staff for their efforts and encouraged them to continue providing quality public services to the community.
