Chief Executive CY Leung says leaking recordings of closed-door meetings is wrong, and goes against society’s standards.
Mr Leung was responding to reports of leaked recordings of Hong Kong University Council meetings, at a media session before an Executive Council meeting today.
He said the Government and the Hong Kong community value press freedom, but it is wrong to release recordings of meetings of any organisation that are declared to be confidential in the first place, regardless of the recipient.
