Government House will open to the public on November 8 from 10am to 5pm.
Visitors can see the garden and places where the Chief Executive holds official functions and receives dignitaries, and can enjoy free guided tours and musical performances by the Police Band and student ensembles.
Display boards and two-dimensional barcodes will also be set up, allowing visitors to discover more by using their smartphones.
As crowds are anticipated - the previous open day drew more than 15,000 visitors - queuing outside Government House may be stopped before 5pm.
