Acting Chief Executive Carrie Lam says the Hong Kong SAR Government has expressed its concern to the Thai Government over a Hong Kong journalist's prosecution.

Mrs Lam was referring to an Initium Media journalist who was arrested for bringing a bullet-proof vest into Thailand while covering the Bangkok explosion in August.

She told reporters ahead of an Executive Council meeting this morning that the Security Bureau has raised its concern to the Royal Thai Consulate-General and hopes it can be resolved as soon as possible in accordance with Thailand's legal proceedings.
