Chief Executive CY Leung has reiterated that the Mainland's new national security law is not applicable to Hong Kong, adding that is the local legal sector's consensus.
Speaking to reporters before attending an Executive Council meeting this morning, Mr Leung said each place has its own legal system and laws, Hong Kong has, the Mainland China has, and so does other foreign countries.
He added that the Hong Kong Government would not comment nor make any guarantees regarding jurisdictions outside Hong Kong, including comments on their legal systems, provisions and practices.
