Gov't aims for rail link co-location

May 19, 2015

Acting Chief Executive Carrie Lam said today it remains the Government's target to co-locate boundary control arrangements for the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.

Speaking to reporters ahead of an Executive Council meeting this morning, Mrs Lam said the co-location arrangements involved complex legal issues.

She said a working group, led by the Secretary for Justice, has been studying the issues with Mainland authorities, and the Hong Kong SAR Government will report to the Legislative Council once progress has been made.
