This year's Boao Forum focused on setting up the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Maritime Silk Road One Belt, One Road initiative, Chief Executive CY Leung says.
Speaking on the sidelines of the forum in Hainan, he said many heads of state and government, as well as business leaders, are concerned about and support these two ideas.
Mr Leung explained to participants Hong Kong's special advantages due to the “One country, two systems” principle.
He added that Hong Kong can contribute in terms of financing, investment and professional services, and hence expand the related industries under the One Belt, One Road initiative.
