The Government has accepted former Central Policy Unit member Fanny Ho's request for post-office employment.
Ms Ho proposed setting up a home office to provide financial, economic and industrial analysis to clients.
The decision was made after consulting the Advisory Committee on Post-office Employment for Former Chief Executives & Politically Appointed Officials.
Ms Ho left the Government in November.
