The Home Affairs Department has called on registered electors to vote in the 2015 Kaifong Representative Election, which will be held on January 25 in Cheung Chau and Peng Chau.
It will be the first statutory Kaifong Representative Election to be held under the newly-amended Rural Representative Election Ordinance (Chapter 576).
There are more than 9,000 registered electors and 89 candidates competing for 56 seats.
The polling stations at Cheung Chau Sports Centre and Peng Chau Sports Centre will be open from 9am to 8pm.
Electors must show their polling notices and identity documents at the polling station to obtain a ballot paper.
