The Government has withdrawn four funding application request from the Legislative Council Finance Committee and put them into the new Budget which will be announced next month.

Chief Executive CY Leung told reporters today that upon the start of the next financial year, such a move is a reasonable and effective way for the Government and lawmakers to handle the projects.

The Government hopes to work amicably with lawmakers to implement all public policies, he said, noting that the community would not accept filibustering in Legislative Council meetings.
