The Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence will hold a ceremony to mark Nanjing Massacre National Memorial Day at the Redoubt Courtyard at 9am tomorrow.
To encourage community participation, there will be free admission to the museum on memorial day.
The Chief Executive, a Judiciary representative, senior government officials, Legislative Councill members, Executive Council members, war veteran groups and members of the community will be in attendance.
The ceremony will include the national anthem being played, a moment of silence and wreath laying.
An exhibition on the Nanjing Massacre will run from tomorrow until January 7, 2015 at the Museum of Coastal Defence.
The same exhibition will also be held until December 31 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall, the Central Government Offices at Tamar, Revenue Tower and Sha Tin Government Offices, and from December 17 until the end of the month at the Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices.
Memorial books will be placed at the exhibition venues for visitors to sign to express condolences for the victims.
