Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will lead a Government delegation to attend the first meeting of the inter-ministries joint conference on the promotion of Qianhai, Nansha and Hengqin's development in Guangdong on Tuesday after attending the 18th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Co-operation Symposium in Beijing.
Mrs Lam will be joined by Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan, Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So and Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam.
Senior representatives of relevant ministries of the State Council, the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the Guangzhou Municipal Government, the Zhuhai Municipal Government, and Macau SAR Governments will also attend the meeting.
Mr So will depart for Seoul to continue his duty visit and Mr Tam will return to Hong Kong in the evening on the same day.
Mrs Lam and other members of the delegation will return to Hong Kong the following day.
