Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will lead a Government delegation to attend the 18th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Co-operation Symposium in Beijing on November 25 and 26.
The symposium features various thematic activities in four major areas - innovation and technology, culture and creativity, headquarters economy and modern service industries.
Mrs Lam will be joined by Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan, Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So, and Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam.
They will then meet with Beijing Municipal Government officials before returning to Hong Kong.
Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing will be Acting Chief Secretary during Mrs Lam's absence.
