Chief Executive CY Leung will lead a delegation to attend the 17th Plenary of the Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference in Guangzhou this Thursday.
Mr Leung and Guangdong Governor Zhu Xiaodan will jointly preside over the meeting.
Chief Secretary Carrie Lam, Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung, Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing, Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam, Secretary for the Environment KS Wong, Secretary for Development Paul Chan, Chief Executive's Office’s Director Edward Yau and Under Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Godfrey Leung will also join the meeting.
Mr Leung will return to Hong Kong in the evening. Financial Secretary John Tsang will be Acting Chief Executive during his absence.
