Athlete Leung Yuk-wing has won another gold for Hong Kong at the Asian Para Games, bring the total number of medals won by the Hong Kong team to a record 44.
Mr Leung took home gold today in the Boccia Mixed Individual BC4 event.
Chief Executive CY Leung praised the athletes for their remarkable achievements and for demonstrating courage, stamina and resolution during the competition.
Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing said he took pride in the team's exceptional performance in a competition of the highest standard. He hopes they will continue to excel and achieve more great results.
A record 119 athletes took part in 14 events at the Incheon Asian Para Games this year - more than in any other year. The 44 medals the athletes won also marks a record for Hong Kong at the Games.
