ICAC chief to visit Mainland

Independent Commission Against Corruption Commissioner Simon Peh will start his five-day official visit to Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen today to boost co-operation with Mainland anti-corruption and law-enforcement agencies.

 

Mr Peh will visit the State Council's Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office, and meet with Procurator-General Cao Jianming and Minister of Supervision Huang Shuxian in Beijing.

 

In Guangzhou Mr Peh will meet the province's Chief Procurator Zheng Hung, and the Commission for Discipline Inspection's Deputy Secretary and Supervision Director Zhong Shijian.

 

In Shenzhen he will call on the city's Chief Procurator Bai Xinchao and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection Qiu Hai, as well as visit the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone and the Qianhai Anti-Corruption Bureau. 

 

He will return to Hong Kong on September 26.
