Chief Executive CY Leung met Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at Government House today.

 

Mr Leung said Hong Kong and Singapore enjoy strong economic and trade ties and have close exchanges and co-operation in areas like education, culture and tourism.

 

Mr Leung and Mr Lee discussed the challenges their cities face in respect of housing, land use planning and infrastructural developments.

 

Mr Leung said he looks forward to Singapore's continued support to bring about an early conclusion of the negotiations for the Free Trade Agreement between Hong Kong and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and to work together to promote the further development of economic and trade co-operation in the region.
