Chief Executive CY Leung met Japan-Hong Kong Parliamentarian League Vice-Chairman and member of the House of Councillors of the National Diet of Japan Yuichiro Hata at the Chief Executive's Office today.

Mr Leung said the league maintains close contact with the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (Tokyo) and plays a vital role in promoting the economic and trade relationship between Hong Kong and Japan.

He briefed Mr Hata and his delegation on Hong Kong's latest developments and invited more Japanese enterprises to set up business in Hong Kong to leverage the city's advantages as an international financial and trade centre.
