Christopher Chan has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Appeal Board on Public Meetings & Processions, succeeding Anderson Chow.
The appointment was made by the Chief Executive under Public Order Ordinance for a two-year term from August 1.
The appointment will be gazetted on August 8.
Secretary for Security TK Lai thanked Mr Chow for his work.
The board comprises a chairman, two deputies and 13 members. They are not public officers.
