Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So visited Southern District today to inspect three social enterprises' businesses and hospitality training provided by the Vocational Training Council.
He first visited the Enterprise Vegetable & Fruit Processing & Supply Service run by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
He then saw the iBakery workshop and the CookEasy kitchen, which is a social enterprise preparing fresh and healthy food packs for households and corporate customers.
Mr So later visited the council's Hospitality Industry Training & Development Centre in Pok Fu Lam, and was briefed on its training programmes.
Mr So also met with Southern District Council members to exchange views on district matters and policy issues.
