Chief Executive CY Leung today met China Insurance Regulatory Commission Chairman Xiang Junbo.
 
He thanked Mr Xiang for the commission's support of the Hong Kong insurance industry.
 
The Hong Kong Government and the local insurance industry have been making the best use of policies and measures under the National 12th Five-Year Plan to enhance Hong Kong's status as an international financial centre, he said.
 
He hopes Hong Kong can contribute to the country's development, while fostering its own.
